CentminMod.com New Site & Next Stable Release
Centmin Mod LEMP Project’s web site centminmod.com, got a total site redesign to coincide with the release of Centmin Mod 1.2.3-eva2000.08 stable version which has undergone 12+ months of beta and testing development to support CentOS 6 and CentOS 7. You can check out the What’s New page for the changes.
Centmin Mod 1.2.3-eva2000.08 will also be the first release to be solely hosted on Centmin Mod Github repository (branch = 123.08stable). This allows for a new centmin.sh menu option 23 feature to exist to easily setup a local Git environment for easier code updates. You can even setup a cronjob to do auto code updates.
The new centminmod.com web site is fully mobile and tablet responsive and is hosted on a mix of GeoDNS cluster of 15x OpenVZ, KVM and Xen based VPS servers located in Seattle, Los Angeles, Dallas, New Jersey, New York, London, Singapore and Sydney and currently backed by Amazon AWS Route53 latency based DNS routing. You can check out my ongoing Google Analytics Page Speed analysis for this VPS cluster here.
Comments and feedback can be posted on the Centmin Mod Community forum thread.
